The origin of this collection dates back to the 18th century, when it was made under the prolific reign of Emperor Qianlong, 4th named after the Qing dynasty of Manchu origin, who was a scholar monarch, poet and painter calligrapher. accomplished.

Its subtle, powdery and polychrome colors, dominated by shades of pink, also called “Cassius purple”, are made from glazed baked enamels that were specific to the “famille rose” decorations and developed in the imperial factory of Jingdezhen .
