Marie-Paule Deville-Chabrolle, a French painter and sculptor, studied at the Ecole
des Beaux-Arts in Pau and spent two years at the Phnom-Penh Fine Arts faculty in
Cambodia.
She draws, sculpts and then transforms women into bronze, producing curved figures of expressive gentleness that emanate a sense of contemplation and inner strength. Her works are exhibited in the Galeries Bartoux in Paris, Megève, Cannes, London, New York and Singapore.
The evident harmony of her feminine sculptures transposed in Daum crystal, invites Daum to continue the edition of exceptional works with this talented artist, such as an original work, like the Sara et les Oiseaux, holding two delicate birds in enameled gold Haviland porcelain, or reinterpretations in new colors and sizes of existing sculptures. The purity and extraordinary colours of the crystal accentuate the grace and femininity of her delicate sculptures.
