The draped vase captures the voluptuous movement of a noble fabric with a finesse as glamorous as it is classic; silk velvet. A luxurious fabric since the 14th century for its softness to the touch and the slowness of its weaving, the interpretation in crystal takes up heavy and thick folds which unravel in ample waves to suggest the silky and iridescent aspect in the light of the silk threads.
