VERSACE

Gianni Versace was born on December 2, 1946 in Reggio Calabria, in southern Italy. Coming from a modest home, he grew up alongside his brother Santo and his sister Donatella. From an early age, he bathes in the world of fashion and observes his mother Francesca, seamstress, when she works in her clothing workshop. All his life, Gianni Versace will be influenced by the aesthetics of his native Italy still marked by traces of its ancient origins.
